Now I don't like making daring choices when it comes to ordering food or drinks, and this place was expensive, so I thought I should order something that I knew would taste good. There was a little menu for special fall/winter drinks and since it was getting chilly outside I thought I could trust the menu. This was the day I lost all trust in everything. I ordered a spicy mocha, hoping to get a warm chocolaty coffee with some unique spices in it. I couldn't have been more wrong. When they said spicy mocha, they meant spicy mocha. This drink was like liquid hot cheetos with a dash of some tabasco sauce. My throat burned with every sip. And there was so much of it. So, so much.
Afterwards we walked around for a bit in the Village. It was super cute!
It's a little bit bigger than this, but it was too awkward to keep walking around taking pictures. We passed by this young guy selling strawberries a couple of times and he kept saying he'd let us try some for free. After maybe 4 times of him asking us to try his strawberries I felt bad for him and just went to try a strawberry. Merika quickly walked away when I approached the guy. She had left me for the dead. He asked me my name and we talked a bit. He actually seemed kinda crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if he was arrested for selling crack. I was actually a little afraid that maybe he'd drugged the strawberries or something. I don't remember how exactly it happened but he gave me his phone number. This was the time to go. I tried my best to be polite and catch up with merika, but he kept asking me questions. I finally escaped after a long goodbye.
